What is Task & Event in Relaso CRM?

In Relaso CRM, a task is a to-do item that has a start time and you need to complete. It can be something as simple as calling a client or as complex as developing a new marketing campaign. An event is a scheduled activity, such as a meeting or a webinar. Event has both start and end time. That means an event is set to complete in a particular duration. Note that Event is related to particular time period whereas task only specifies a start time.

When you want to create an event you need to specify an adverbs of time or directly specify a time, else the event is considered as a to-do, and end is must be specifie. If not specified then the end date is stored same as the start date. Whereas for task creation only need to specify the start date

How to create Task & Event in Relaso CRM

You can create a task or event from following three ways.

  1. Task & Event Dashboard (Adding new task or event from here is not permissible for all plans.)
  2. Communicator (See documentation related to Communicator or Quick Note/ Instructions related to ?)
  3. Quick Note / Instructions
  4. Task and event, to-do, can also be created from Manage dash board of Client, C0ntact, Deal, Support, Campaign page. Click on the invidual entity and Go to the Manage page. Select Advanced Tab in the top and opt for Task, event or to-do.

Assuming that you are logged in to your Relaso account. Follow the below section as your preference to add task or event.

From Task & Event Dashboard

NOTE: Adding task and event from this section is not availaible for all plans

  1. Go to Task & Event Dashboard by clicking on the Tasks & Events button from the main Menu
  2. If your plan supports adding new task or event from here then you can find two buttons as New Task and New Event on top of the page.





  1. Click on the appropriate button. A form will appear to fill.
  2. Fill up the form for new tasks or new events. Title is a mandatory field to add.
  3. click on Save or Save & New button.

From communicator or Quick Note/Instructions

Add event

To add an event from Communicator or Quick Note/ Instructions you can write using following two command.

  1. @meet
  2. @meeting

NOTE: For above two syntax you can go to the communicator and write the above two command and refer to the help section on that page.

For example: "@meet @kcsweets tomorrow at 5pm" this command will add an event for an account kcsweets.

NOTE: To add an event there must be a word in the command that refers to a time else it will be added as a task. Also if adding event for specific entity then refer to the entity in the command else go the specific entity page then write the command.













Add task

To add a task from Communicator or Quick Note/ Instructions you can write using following command.

  1. @task
  2. @add task

For example: "@task @kcsweets tomorrow at 5pm" this command will add a task for an account kcsweets. (See documentation related to Communicator or Quick Note/ Instructions related to ?)

NOTE: If adding task for specific entity then refer to the entity in the command else go the specific entity page then write the command.









Notification and Reminder in Task and Event

For task and event you can get reminder prior the due time of your task or event. The minimum time for reminder set is 5 mins.
